Giving

“Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.”  -  Deuteronomy 16:17

Since its inception in 1958 St. Maurice School has been blessed. The school’s growth from its modest beginnings to its current position as the province's largest Catholic School can be attributed to the collective efforts of a many groups of dedicated individuals: from Father Morand and the original founding group of parents to our dedicated staff, many of whom have served St. Maurice for 15 or more years.  Currently we have a very active Parent Guild and some increasingly active Alumni who are giving back in many ways. All these groups have one thing in common: a deep affection for St. Maurice School and all that it stands for.

Giving Time/Knowledge

Giving Time

Extracurricular activities have been an important part of school life for many of our students. We are blessed to have many volunteer alumni and parents. Giving Financially

As a not-for-profit institution St. Maurice School depends on the generous support of its stakeholders to continue to provide financial support for many important initiatives. All financial donations made through the school’s web page are made to “St. Vital Parish”, and since these projects are designated for the parish school’s projects, they are eligible for a charitable donation tax receipt.

Capital Projects

Every year the school upgrades many aspects of the physical plant. Recently, artificial turf was installed in the elementary playground.  Make a gift today!

Bursary Fund

The establishment of a bursary program to benefit students with financial need is an important initiative the school would like to establish. A bursary fund would ensure that all deserving students will be able to attend St. Maurice School regardless of one’s financial situation. If you are able to give back financially, contact us. Make a gift today! Email givingback@stmaurice.mb.ca or phone 204-453-4020.
