To help prepare for the coming of our Saviour, during the Advent season, 2A had daily brief reflections about the Jesse Tree symbols for the month of December. We listened to a short story about the meaning of each one, then coloured the symbols, and wrote about it in our own Jesse Tree book. Our spiritual family tree is named after Jesse, the Father of King David. "The royal line of David is like a tree that has been cut down; but just as new branches sprout from the stump, so a new King (Jesus) will arise from David's descendants."
